A theory based course that examines current thinking around issues relevant to the field of dance and performance, and brings these concerns into conversation with the practice of various dance forms, the cultures and communities in which they exist and the bodies most (and sometimes least) affected.

4 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in Dance.
