In this introductory “creative sampler” course, students will explore and practice creativity across multiple media formats. From visual design and aesthetics to narrative and copy writing, you’ll practice creating brand stories for print, social media, video, podcasts, and more. This is a project-based, team-taught course with experts contributing in each of these creative areas.

Students will be able to leverage their curiosity about the world by gathering information, investigating trends, developing insights, generating ideas and creating culture intelligence reports on things like music, art, sports, politics, food, recreation, nature, business, philosophy, technology and gaming.

Social Media and Social Justice is an interactive course that introduces students to the complex dynamic between innovative social movements and social media technologies. The course will focus on the goals, strategies, and tactics that activate digital grassroots engagement.
