Describes the relationship between economic development and environmental sustainability using applied data analysis. Economic theory is used to study global poverty, explain environmental sustainability issues, and propose policy solutions. Implementation and distributional challenges for environment and development policies are also discussed.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: ACE 300 or ECON 302.
