Discrete Mathematics for CS Teachers

Credit: 2 hours.

Introduces fundamental mathematical concepts used for computations. It provides an overview of logic, mathematical proofs, number theory, counting, sets, relations, recursion, graphs and trees. It is designed to teach those concepts while addressing the needs to understand the mathematical formalism behind computation when teaching high school computer programming courses.
