FA22 ENGL 564, Gordon Hutner This course concentrates on the kind of writing that students need to do in graduate school and throughout their careers. The anchor of the course is a workshop on journal publication, where students will be developing an essay for publication, typically drawn either from their dissertations or successful seminar papers. The course also gives students practice in writing successful dissertation and book manuscript proposals, panel papers, fellowship applications, along with other practical interventions. Some light reading along the way.
