Title: Creating Difference(s) in Latin America Description: This grad course explores the ways through which people in colonial and modern Latin America negotiated, challenged, and resisted the creation of differences in terms of race, ethnicity, and religion. It will analyze primary and secondary sources that will support research questions from a variety of approaches and subject areas. The course will focus in particular in Andean, Brazilian, Caribbean and Mexican histories.
