Topic: Sociology of Sports and Mental Health. Sociological analysis of mental health and illness using case studies from sport; addresses the intersections of cultural sport psychology, sociology of sport, and sociology of mental health. Meets with SOC 396 SOC 196/396 will be an online but synchronous. The course content will be located on Compass 2g. Class meetings will be held on Zoom during the scheduled class time. Some lecture content will be pre-recorded and available on Compass 2g. However, the course is project based and designed around the expectation that students attend regularly.
