Provides Ph.D. students insight on the opportunities, responsibilities and expectations of various career paths, including academia, industry, and government. Core responsibilities - research, teaching and service - required of academic faculty will be discussed, along with important resources and strategies to aid students in obtaining a position and plotting a successful career path.
1 graduate hour. No professional credit. Approved for S/U grading only. May be repeated in separate terms to a maximum of 2 hours. Ph.D. students must repeat in separate terms to a maximum of 2 hours.
