Credit: 2 OR 4 hours.

Critical exploration of technology in all aspects of music learning. Theoretical approaches, trends in software and hardware, and consideration of technologies as prosthetics of the mind are explored in a seminar format. Limited instruction in hardware and software are also included as needed.

The higher amount of credit will require a major project outside of class in consultation with the instructor. Prerequisite: MUS 447; graduate standing, or consent of instructor.
