Examines the principles and practical knowledge necessary for the establishment and maintenance of high-quality turfgrass stands for use as home lawns, golf courses, athletic fields, parks, and other commercial uses. Presents an integrated approach to management that considers conservation of resources and environmental impacts in relationship to turfgrass quality.

Prerequisite: IB 103.
