Credit: 3 hours.

Course includes identification, culture, and landscape use of herbaceous, frost-tender ornamental plants. Emphasis on flowering annuals, tropical foliage plants used for outdoor displays, and foliage plants used for interiorscaping. Elements of design will be addressed; design projects will integrate concepts.

Prerequisite: IB 103.
