Addresses fundamental issues in Laboratory Animal Sciences including history, regulatory aspects, ethical considerations, and basic biology and husbandry of common laboratory animal species. Same as ANSC 455. 1 graduate or professional hour. Approved for both letter and S/U grading. Prerequisite: Second or third-year standing in the veterinary medicine curriculum, registration in the graduate college, or consent of instructor.
