Topic: "The Television Documentary" In this course we will watch, analyze, discuss, and write about some of the greatest and even not so great documentaries of the past fifty years. We will talk about the journalistic issues of bias, credibility, fairness, representation, privacy, production choices, and funding and its influence. After this course you will see the possibilities of television journalism in a whole new light. This course is open to all juniors, seniors and graduate students in the College of Media.
Restriction(s):
Restricted to Advertising or Journalism or News-Editorial or Broadcast Journalism or Media Studies major(s). Not intended for students with Freshman or Sophomore class standing.
