Materials Laboratory I

Credit: 3 hours.

Experiments using optical and scanning electron microscopy and various thermal and thermodynamic measuring techniques. Introduction to use of laboratory test instruments. MSE 307 and MSE 308 are approved for General Education credit only as a sequence. Both courses must be completed to receive Advanced Composition credit. Prerequisite: Completion of campus Composition I requirement; credit or concurrent registration in IE 300, MSE 401, and MSE 406.
