Topic: Advanced Broadcast Reporting - in this course you will advance your broadcast writing and storytelling skills. You can work in radio or television, producing stories that showcase advanced writing and editing skills. Interested students will also participate in a multi-media course that will document the impact of the Iraq war on central Illinois. Those students interested in the multi-media project will enroll in this course if they want to help produce a public affairs talk show and a documentary on the topic, as part of their course work. We will collaborate with students from other electives to create and post stories, photographs, video and audio to a web site that will be home to the project. It is expected your work will be broadcast on WILL, if it meets broadcast quality standards.
