Fundamentals of medical supervision with the emphasis on acquisition of athletic training skills to recognize, treat, and refer, when appropriate, the general medical conditions and disabilities of athletes. This includes 30 hours of clinical practice with a consulting physician, including selected medical criterion for return to sport participation.

2 undergraduate hours. 2 graduate hours. May be repeated to a maximum of 4 hours. Prerequisite: KIN 320, or consent of instructor.
