Discussion of the role of the athletic trainer; legalities, facilities, advanced emergency procedures, injury prevention and organization and administration of athletic health care programs. Understanding the process of injury and healing as a basis for prevention and treatment of athletic injuries is emphasized including general medical terminology.
Prerequisite: KIN 120, or consent of instructor.
