Course is the second in a two-course sequence that examines elementary science content, learning theory, and the teaching of science in the elementary school. Course includes an examination of the nature of science, as well as methods and materials for teaching science and assessing science learning.

Prerequisite: CI 450; admission to the Elementary Teacher Education Program.
