(SPAN 230) Theory and practice of written translations of non-technical texts from English to Spanish and Spanish to English; brief study of concepts and objectives of translation; analysis of examples and exercises; term project in translation selected in consultation with instructor.

Prerequisite: SPAN 204.

All seats reserved for Spanish and Spanish Education majors during the early registration period. Non-registered students are not allowed to sit in or audit.
