(NRES 320) Historical development of ecological restoration, its philosophical foundation, multi-disciplinary borrowings from the natural, applied, and social sciences, and varied practical applications, with emphasis on the application of ecological principles. Case studies, field trips, and laboratory activities on restoration planning.
Field trip required; fee required. Prerequisite: NRES 219, IB 441 or LA 450.
