Credit: 3 hours.
(NRES 303) Examines water quality in streams, rivers, lakes, and wetlands. The responses of watershed systems to pollution and other human impacts will be described in terms of their biological, geochemical, and physical processes. The technical analyses necessary to establish policies aimed at preserving or restoring these natural resources will be emphasized.
Prerequisite: NRES 351 or CEE 330 or CHEM 232 and MATH 220 or MATH 234.
