(GEOL 355) Introduction to environmental and economic aspects of the occurrence and movement of groundwater through the earth's crust; topics include the hydrologic cycle, groundwater contamination, petroleum migration, formation of mineral resources, and groundwater chemistry.

Prerequisite: MATH 220, concurrent registration in CHEM 104 and CHEM 105 or CHEM 204 and CHEM 203 or consent of instructor.
