Visual Communication for Industrial Design

Credit: 4 hours.

Equips students with essential visual communication skills for the field of industrial design. Focusing on sketching, composition, layout, and storytelling, the course treats visual communication as both a tool for thinking and a persuasive medium. Students learn to create, document, and present professional design work with clarity and intent, culminating in a process book and portfolio suitable for advanced academic and professional contexts.

Additional fees may apply. See Class Schedule. No undergraduate credit. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Restricted to graduate standing or consent of instructor required.
