This graduate-level course provides an in-depth introduction to the principles and applications of stable isotopes in ecological research. Emphasis is placed on understanding isotopic fractionation, tracing nutrient and energy flow, and using isotopic methods to study ecological interactions. Students will gain both conceptual understanding and practical analytical skills.
