Studies of selected topics in Food Science. Study may be on specialized topics in any one of the following fields: food chemistry, food microbiology, nutrition, food processing/engineering. Lectures and/or laboratory.

May be repeated if topics vary. Students may register only once for a given topic. Prerequisite: Graduate level status or consent of instructor.

Sports Nutrition for Dietitians: This asynchronous online course will focus on applied performance nutrition. It will provide an in-depth look at the essential role of nutrition for athletic performance, recovery and overall health. Students will learn practical applications and current performance nutrition strategies. ***Prereq: FSHN 420 or consent of instructor. Students should have a fundamental understanding of performance nutrition.***
