Although the focus will be primarily Roman antiquity, there will also be attention to post-Roman afterlives, permutations, and revivals. Students will explore primary archaeological, visual, and literary evidence around villas and read a selection of key secondary literature Restriction(s): Restricted to Graduate - Urbana-Champaign.
