Deepen acting practice through work with text drawn from Shakespeare and other forms of heightened language. Students will engage their imagination and respond to Shakespeare’s vivid imagery as they explore multiple approaches to performance. Emphasis will be placed on embodied technique, clarity of thought, character research, and bringing their full selves and identities to the work.

3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. Prerequisite: THEA 175. Restricted to BFA Theatre concentration in Acting.
