Credit: 2 TO 4 hours.

Special training in philosophical investigation. Course may be taken by students pursuing graduation with distinction in partial fulfillment of those requirements.

2 to 4 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. May be repeated to a maximum of 4 undergraduate hours. Prerequisite: Open to seniors with a grade-point average of 3.5 in all philosophy courses only by prior arrangement with a member of the faculty and with consent of the department director of undergraduate studies or the chair.
