Section Info:
Introduction to Interactive Media: In today’s media environment, we are not merely expected to watch or listen to media; we are often asked to interact with it. This course explores the distinctive features and trends of various interactive media, including social media and video games, and it will examine how media are used interactively in contemporary life. We will explore how we interact with media, and how media interact with us, not only as individuals but also as fan communities and commercial markets. The course also explores the role of new media technologies such as virtual reality, generative AI, and wearable technology.
