The limitations imposed by the Sherman Act, Clayton Act, and Federal Trade Commission Act on anticompetitive practices by business firms; emphasizes price fixing and other agreements among competitors, monopolization, mergers, exclusive dealing, tying arrangements. Considers applicability of traditional rules to intellectual property and new technologies.
