Immerses students in the comprehensive analysis of surveillance systems used to monitor and evaluate the prevalence and trends of physical activity across populations and domains. Students learn foundational concepts of physical activity surveillance and public health, assess measurement methods, and analyze different and complex physical activity patterns throughout the life course. Emphasizing critical evaluation, the course fosters informed decision-making in public health, equipping students to innovatively contribute to the field and impact public health policies.
