Topics will include key milestones in game development, the impact of technological advancements, and the rise of major game genres. Students will learn about the different roles within the industry, such as game designers, developers, artists, and producers, and how they collaborate to create a game. The course will also cover the business aspects of the industry, including game publishing, marketing, and the economic impact of video games globally. Additionally, discussions will touch on current trends and challenges in the industry, such as the rise of mobile gaming, virtual reality, and eSports.
