This is a capstone course – where individuals will complete their final project for the MS Advertising degree. The project showcases the student’s mastery of knowledge in the primary areas of advertising.

Students can enroll in 0, 3, or 6 graduate credits – for a maximum of 6 credits during their degree program. Approved for S/U grading only. Course Description: May be repeated in separate terms to a maximum of 6 hours. Prerequisite: A grade of B or better in ADV 588.

This project based course requires the student to work at least 5 hours per week outside of class to complete their work. In order to register for this course, students need to complete an Independent Study Form which can be found here: https://go.illinois.edu/GradIndependentStudy. Students must complete all sections of the form before it can be submitted for review by their participating instructor. Once the form has been reviewed and approved by the department, the student will receive further registration information from the College of Media Student Services Center.
