Selected literary and non-literary texts published in Spain during the 18th and 19th centuries. Focus on analysis of literary and other manifestations of major cultural movements and artistic currents and preoccupations. Instruction in Spanish unless otherwise noted.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. May be repeated to a maximum of 6 undergraduate hours or 8 graduate hours as topic varies. Prerequisite: SPAN 312 and SPAN 320 or consent of instructor.
