Credit: 3 hours.

Words have the power to transport us to other worlds and help us understand how we see our own. In this class, students will learn to analyze a broad range of literary texts (short stories, essays, novels, poetry, comics, etc.) of the Spanish-Speaking world, and explore their intersections with broader historical and cultural issues. Instruction in Spanish.

Prerequisite: SPAN 228 or consent of instructor.
