Major restrictions will be lifted at 12pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Fascisms and anti-fascisms. Talk of fascism and anti-fascism has acquired new currency in our present moment of polycrisis. But what do people mean when they warn of fascism? And what are debates about whether fascism can happen here, in the United States, really about? This course explores historical and recent scholarship on fascism and anti-fascism to shed light on these issues.
