This course surveys advanced topics in stage management focusing on skill building and development for graduate students preparing to enter the professional world. Advanced stage management techniques are discussed with an eye to promoting innovation. Assignments are designed to provide a laboratory experience where students can apply critical thinking, scholarly research, experimentation, collaboration and writing skills relevant to real-world scenarios and often with practical outcomes or applications.
May be repeated to a maximum of 12 hours. Prerequisite: MFA Stage Management majors only.
