Students will gain valuable experience in performance nutrition, contributing to the preparation, delivery, and management of athlete-focused nutritional support. Enrollment requires successfully passing an interview process followed by a background check conducted by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics prior to the first week of class. Students will commit to ~6 hours per week (totaling 100 hours) over the semester, including early morning and late evening shifts. Attendance and participation are critical, with each 2-hour shift contributing 2% toward the final grade. Students must arrive on time with a positive "can-do" attitude and remain until formal dismissal to earn this credit. This course is ideal for students passionate about performance nutrition, seeking to develop practical skills and gain professional experience in a dynamic environment that directly supports athletic performance and recovery.
