Human Development and Reproductive Health

Credit: 8 hours.

Builds upon the clinical, basic science, and engineering fundamentals of genetics, the reproductive endocrine system, human development through the life cycle, and sexual and reproductive health. The CI MED curricular threads, namely bioethics and medical humanities, leadership, lifespan health, health systems science, and the social and structural determinants of health will be appropriately interwoven.

8 professional hours. Approved for S/U grading only. May be repeated in separate semesters for a total of 24 professional hours. Prerequisite: Restricted to students enrolled in the MD program at Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
