Credit: 3 OR 4 hours.
Provides the basic skills needed to understand how planners and decision makers use information about travel behavior to plan transportation investments. Students will gain applied experience with travel demand modeling software. Additional course topics include an introduction to travel behavior theory, travel model evaluation, and emerging modeling applications.
3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: UP 430, UP 460, or CEE 417, or consent of instructor. Junior standing required.
