Provides an overview of sport development (development of sport systems and skills) and sport for development (use of sport for individual and community development). These concepts are linked, as many organizations engage in both aspects, and one cannot exist without the other. Sport development topics explore comparative sport development, participation pathways, and design and evaluation of sport systems. Sport for development topics include, theory and program design, inter-organizational partnerships, and monitoring and evaluation.
