Section Info:
Neurodiversity: This course will expose future professionals and those influenced by autism and neurodiversity from all fields - from business to engineering, education to social-work - to deeper understanding of themselves and their peers on the autism spectrum. Study of current topics surrounding autism will create a framework for acceptance and inclusion. Topics include: understanding autism, autism and gender, myths and biases about neurodiversity, neurodiversity and inclusion, and more. Students with a freshmen or sophomore class standing may email Ashley Negangard (arnegan@illinois.edu) for approval to register for the course.
