Infant Toddler Development for Care Providers covers five competencies that are required for level 2 credentials: Human Growth and Development, Health, Safety, and Well-being; Interactions, Relationships, and Environment; Family and Community Relationships; and Personal and Professional Development. The course focuses on the development of children aged 0-3 years in cognitive, social emotional, language, and physical domains. Based on the development, it covers the fundamental principles of working with infants and toddlers to create responsive environments, facilitate positive interactions, and foster collaboration with families and communities as caregivers and practitioners.

Academic Strategies Is your differently-wired brain causing extra stress, frustration, and difficulty surrounding your academic work? This course will use the assignments from your current classes to teach executive function strategies that will promote success this semester and throughout the rest of your academic and professional career. You will learn effective strategies to improve difficulty getting started, staying organized, remembering due dates, paying attention, planning projects, managing stress, study skills, and more. lab time will be used to complete course assignments, build social networks, and provide a quiet study space with structured accountability.
