This studio course explores the intersection of interactivity and the written word—encompassing fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Although many of the works examined in the course contain gameplay mechanics, the course’s focus is on the expressive possibilities of interactive storytelling. Students will create hypertext narratives using Twine software. No prior programming experience is assumed.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours.
