Description: This course examines Global History through a wide chronological lens, from the earliest evidence of human societies to the twentieth century. Our main focus will be on changes in political and economic structures in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the America, and how social and religious innovations drive these changes. This course also explores the how different peoples connect to one another through trade, conquest, and the creation of global cultures.
