Geology Undergraduate Seminar
Section Info:
In this seminar for geology majors and freshman we’ll expand on Physical Geology topics to try and answer two questions - what do we know about the Earth, and how do we know it? We’ll get our hands dirty (both metaphorically and physically) to understand topics ranging from global Plate Tectonics to fossils smaller than a grain of sand. This class should be taken in conjunction with GEOL 100 or GEOL 107 (1 Credit). Non-Geology freshmen taking GEOL 100 or GEOL 107 should contact Lana Holben (holben@illinois.edu) for an override to enroll.
