Topic: Fabricated Figuration, or The Body in Pieces. This class will focus on ways that the body and figuration can be accomplished via fragmented, aggregated, and mis-matched components that don’t rely on classical figuration as way to talk about identity. It will explore 2D, 3D, and 4D methods of making, to allow for individual practices and interpretations. Materials including clay, fiber, foam, paper, fabric, and digital practices will be explored. Seats are reserved for specific A&D majors and A&D minors. If you receive a "reserve closed" error, all seats for your major are filled, check back on December 1. Any available seats left on December 1 will be made available to all A&D majors and minors.
