It aims to comprehend some of the behaviors that emerge during their development. Building upon this understanding, the course assists students in enhancing their abilities and skills to interact with young children. Additionally, based on this comprehension, student will be able to design appropriate activities, choose suitable materials, and create responsive environment for young children. The course meets the level 3 infant and toddler credential requirements.

This course will use the assignments from your current classes to teach executive function strategies that will promote success this semester and throughout the rest of your academic and professional career. You will learn effective strategies to improve difficulty getting started, staying organized, remembering due dates, paying attention, planning projects, managing stress, study skills, and more. Lab time will be used to complete course assignments, build social networks, and provide a quiet study space with structured accountability.
