Renewable energy sources and applications, including solar, geothermal, wind, and biomass. Environmental consequences of energy conversion including how renewable energy can reduce air pollution and global climate change. Economics of alternative energy systems.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Credit is not given for both TSM 438 and ABE 436. Prerequisite: Junior, senior, or graduate standing required.
