Autism Current Topics This course will offer a general overview of autism throughout the lifespan including effects on development and the family, educational and employment outcomes, historical perspectives, neurodiversity and autistic identity , and cultural biases and barriers to inclusion. Practical strategies for supporting success for individuals on the autism spectrum will be highlighted. First 8-week class. 1 credit hour.
